Raising a family is such a challenging and creative process that it still fascinates me after 26 years of service to families and children! I've raised my own two children. Now I mentor and coach single parents and specialize in strengthening couples. When parents communicate with empathy and emotional intelligence, so do their children. In coaching parents at Benton County Health Department and in my private practice, I emphasize communication. I call my business Exceptional Destiny because you will begin to recognize those moments when thoughtful planning and preparation meet with opportunities for growth. In those moments, the language we use and the choices we make can lead us into a future beyond our wildest dreams. Coaching is like drinking a powerful communication potion.

I am a parent coach and parent educator with 23 years experience working with a wonderful variety of parents including those experiencing divorce and remarriage; grandparents raising grandchildren; and foster and adoptive parents of children with attachment disorders, hyperactivity, conduct disorders and learning disabilities. I am a dedicated parent advocate who loves helping parents create more confidence and satisfaction in their parenting. I believe that just as we want our children to thrive, we, too, want to reach our fullest potential as parents. Our goal as human beings is to learn from our experiences and open our hearts to the joy. There is no finer job than parenting.
