Parenting is a vocation of great importance, yet it has less support and recognition than at any time in history. Parents face cultural influences from mass technology, popular music and movies, a general loosening of morals in schools and neighborhoods, the loss of family time as children increasingly commit themselves to activities and achievement. In this harried time, we are at risk of losing the connections that sustain us: God, self, and family.

As your parent coach, I will build with you a compassionate, non judgmental relationship; a connection that will help you navigate the challenges parenting brings. Through the process we will discover your hidden gifts that enrich your parenting and family life. As a team we will explore your dreams and design a preferred future of more joy and satisfaction to your vocation as a parent. Together, we can resolve how you and your family can manage your daily challenges and find joy in parenting.

My experience and passion to supporting families extends over three decades. I have taught 4th, 7th, and 8th grades, coached varsity and junior varsity swimming, worked with couples preparing for marriage, offered insightful communication workshops, and gained experience with parents as an Admissions Director for a local high school. I bring to my parent coaching a deep empathy and wisdom gained from rearing five wonderful children with my husband of 34 years.
