As the name of my business implies, my passion as a parent coach lies in helping a parent move in the direction of their Best Self and bring it to bear upon parenting dilemmas. I believe that a centered and well-resourced parent is a parent who can help a child thrive. We approach this in you by focusing together on the strengths of the system and building resources toward desired change.

I have extensive experience in using research-based, brain-level approaches to discipline, and I believe in the power of enhancing the emotional intelligence of children and adults alike. I have a solid background in the developmental needs of the children and can help you make decisions with those needs in mind.

My coaching process is based in relationship. On the phone, we'll explore the strengths of your system and make adjustments that will improve its functioning in order to bring more joy to your parenting experience.

Although I am happy to work with any parent, I specialize in working with parents of young children (1-5 years), and with parents of children with special needs.

I have worked in public schools special education for 17 years. As a music therapist for 15 years, I sought artful and fun ways to bring about greater brightness in a child's shine. Now I serve children as an educational diagnostician, providing services to young ones entering the school system who need more than typical support. My own son was born in 2006.
